Alexander Scriabin (1872-1915)
Bio
Alexander Nikolayevich Scriabin (or Skriabin) was born in Moscow. He studied at the Moscow Conservatory but did not graduate due to differences with his instructor, Anton Arensky. He was a concert pianist and quickly gained notoriety as a composer. His career was cut short due to a skin infection which took his life at only 43.
